The aim of this research is to find out that in The Ujuang Batu village there is still a lack of education for the children of these farmers.discussing of intrinsic and extrinsic factors, in the Ujuang Batu village.This type of research is classified as descriptive research. The population of this research is Ujuang Batu sub-district Batang Kapas Subdistrict, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The sample used was the regional sample and the respondent sample was determined by Purposive Random Sampling. Data collection uses guided questionnaires and data analysis techniques are used by using the percentage formula.The results of the study are as follows 1) Intrinsic motivation (motivation from within) Intrinsic motivation is motives that become active or function need not be transcribed from the outside, because in every individual there is already an urge to do something. Extrinsic motivation is active and functioning motives due to external impulses. Therefore, motivation in which learning activities begin and continue based on outside encouragement that is not absolutely related to learning activities.
