This research is based on the background of students' mathematics learning outcomes are still many under the KKM and students do not dare to ask. The purpose of the study is to find out whether there is an effect of the application of Direct Learning Model accompanied by LSQ on student mathematics learning outcomes. This type of research is pre-experimental design, with the design of One Shot Case Study. The population of this research was all class students. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling. Sampling is done based on consideration of the subject under research and consideration from the mathematics teacher, the sample chosen is class VIII.3. The test statistic used for hypothesis testing is the Z test on the right side. From the calculation results obtained Z_count = 2.021 and Z_table = 1.645, because Z_count > Z_table then accept H1 at the real level α = 0.05. So, it can be concluded that the hypothesis in this study is accepted, namely that there is the influence of Direct Learning Model accompanied by Learning Starts with A Question (LSQ) on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII.3 of SMP Negeri 10 Sijunjung.
