In the learning process the teacher has used a scientific approach, but it has not been implemented well. Students are less actively participating in working on group assignments and teacher only uses text books and the results of study student’s biology are still below the minimal completeness criteria. This research is an experimental research design with Randomized Control Group Post-test Only Design. The research in population is students at tenth grade students of SMAN 1 Gunung Tuleh Academic Year 2019/ 2020. The sampling technique is total sampling. In the affective domain the instrument used is a self-assessment sheet and among friends, the cognitive domain is in the form of multiple choice questions through written tests, and in the psychomotor domain in the form of discussion reports and posters. The test used is the t-test and t’-test. Affective domain hypothesis test results obtained count 0.41 < table 1.67 the hypothesis is rejected. In the cognitive realm obtained count 4.4 > table 1.67 the hypothesis (H1) is accepted. In the psychomotor realm of the discussion report obtained count -0.44 < table 1.67 then the hypothesis of the discussion (H1) is rejected. In the poster psychomotor domain, it is obtained count 0.85 < table 1.67, the psychomotor poster (H1) hypothesis is rejected. So the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model is accompanied by media images influences the cognitive realm and does not affect the affective and psychomotor realms of class X students of SMAN 1 Gunung Tuleh West Pasaman Barat.
