Abstrak :

The purpose of this research was to describe the writing skill in negotiation text using learning model between Think Talk Write (TTW) and Number Head Together (NHT) toward writing skill in negotiation text of tenth grade students SMAN 1 Timpeh, Dharmasraya. The kind of this research was quantitative research by using experimental method. The design of this research was The Randomized Posttest Only Control Group. The population of this research were all of the tenth grade students at SMAN 1 Timpeh, Dharmasraya. The sample of this research were the students of X IIS 2 and X IIS 3 it consists 50 students. The data of this research was the score from writing skill in negotiation text using learning model between Think Talk Write (TTW) and Number Head Together (NHT). The result of this research can be concluded as was follow ; First, the average value of writing skill in negotiation text of the tenth grade students at SMAN 1 Timpeh using Think Talk Write (TTW) was 89,34 which clasification 86%-95%. Second, the average value of writing skill in negotiation text of the tenth grade students at SMAN 1 Timpeh using Number Head Together (NHT) was 96,33 which clasification 96-85%. Third, it can be seen that there was differences in using learning model between Think Talk Write (TTW) and Number Head Together (NHT) thus, H1 was accepted in significant degree 95% and dk = n1 + n2- 2 because of  tcount>ttable (2,78>1,67).
