Beggars are people who income by asking in publik in various reason to meet daily living needs. Likewise with paired beggars, who use sigs and symbols and form a work pattern. So the formulation of the problem in this study is how the work patterns of beggars pair up in the padang raya market. The theory used is the theory of symbolic interactionism pioneered by George Herbert Mead. The approach used in this research is qualitative approach with descriptive type. The informants who contributed in this study were 14 people, 8 men and 6 women. Data collection methods are carried out with inobservation techniques, depth interview, and document studies. Data analysis used interactive data analysis Miles and Hubermen which includes in four stages: data collectoin, data presentation, and conclusion.Research results show that there are two work patterns. 1) work patterns that are short in nature, namely work patterns that have a network so that they do not need employers, 2) work patterns that have long lines and do not have a network, so they need a network to add paired beggar connections developed by employers. The beggars pattern in pairs starts from looking for a partner, gathering, begging, at a market place or other place, gathering again for lunch, begging in a different place, and gathering again to share the results. This is done continuously every day except on rainy days.
