Abstrak :

This research is based on by the result of students mathematics learning are still many under the KKM and it’s lack of  interaction in the learning process. This study aims to determine whether the result of student mathematics learning by implementary a strategy of cooperative learning Number Head Together  is better than the result of students mathematics learning by applying conventional learning and to determine interacton by implementary a strategy of cooperative learning Number Head Together  in the learning process  class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Talamau Pasaman Barat. This type of research is experimental study, the random design on the subject. The study population was all student of class VIII at SMP Negeri 2 Talamau Pasaman Barat registered in the academie 2017/2018 . Class selected sample is VIII.B class as the experimental class and the control class VIII.C. The research instrument was the final test in the form of essay test reliability is 0,05 and sheets of observation interaction learning. Hypothesis testing using one side of t-test. Based on the analysis of data obtained tcount=2,20 is less than ttable=1,68, and analysis of data interaction learning is counting percentage of interaction learning, so it can be concluded that the result study of student mathematic learning that apply of cooperative learning Number Head Together is better than the result study that  apply conventional learning model in class VIII SMP 2 Talamau Pasaman Barat.
