Abstrak :

This study aims to determine the physics learning outcomes of students using power point pop-up learning media better than the physics learning outcomes of students using a scientific approach in class VIII SMP N 1 Pantai Cermin.This type of research is a quasi experimental with posttest only control group design. The population of this study was all eighth grade students of SMP N 1 Pantai Cermin consisting of five classes. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling technique, class VIII D was chosen as the experimental class and class VIII E was the control class. The instrument used was the final test and student activity sheet. The form of the test used in the form of an essay with the reliability of the test   = 0.670. The statistical test used is the t-test. Based on the analysis, it was found that  = 7.219 <  = 1.67, then accept . Based on the analysis of the student activity sheet, it is known that the experimental class activity is better than the control class. So, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted that students 'physics learning outcomes by using power point pop-up learning media with a scientific approach is better than students' physics learning outcomes by using a scientific approach in class VIII SMP N 1 Pantai Cermin.
