Abstrak :

           This research was conducted because the problems found in the interview were the lack of student concentration when the teacher explained the lesson, students who were less active in learning, students' habits did not make lesson schedules at home, students were accustomed to not taking time to repeat lessons at home, students were accustomed to not dividing When reading biology textbooks, students rarely visit the library to read biology textbooks, student learning outcomes in the Final Semester Examination (UAS) of students are still below the Minimum Learning Improvement (KBM). The study population was all students of class X SMAN 5 Solok Selatan in the 2018/2019 academic year as many as 131 students spread across four classes. The sampling technique uses proportional random sampling with a total of 33 students. The instrument in this study was a questionnaire. The questionnaire created is a closed questionnaire type using scala likert. The data analysis technique in this study is a descriptive statistical analysis technique with t test. Based on research results obtained from calculations, the value of tcount is 3.35. At the 95% confidence level (α = 0.05) it could be 1.69. So tcount > ttable, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between study habits with biology learning outcomes of students of class X SMA N 5 Solok Selatan.
