This study discusses the people of the Simarui Hamlet Who Persisted in managing agricultural land even though the selling price was not to high. The teory used in this study is the population theori developed by Everentt S. Lee. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The technique of selecting informants is done by using purposive sampling with a total of 15 people. The type of data used is primary and secondary data. Data colection methods include observation, interview and document study. Analysis of the data used with the Milles and Huberman analysis model which includes four stages namely, data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the factors that cause the farming community not to migrate in the Simarui Village of Malakopa Vilage are: 1). Cheaper Living Costs. 2). The extent of land cultivated by farmers. 3). Various sources of income. 4). Do not want to live apart from family. This is the factor that causes farmers in the hamlet Simarui not to migrate.
