Abstrak :

           This research was motivated by the lack of activites and participation of students in learning and not precisely the model and media used by the teacher in the teaching and learning process, this has an impact on student biology learning outcomes. Type of research is experimental research with the population is all students of class X SMA 1 Sitiung. Sampling technique that researcher used is purposive sampling. Reseach design of this research in Randomized Control Group Posstest Only Design. Instrument of this research used affective that is observer assessment and in psychomotor are reports assessment and product assessment. Tecniques of data analysis in affective use-t test and psychomotor use -t' test. Based on the results of the study of affective hypothesis test result obtained means that t_h > t_t thus the hypothesis (H1) is accepted. In the psychomotor in form of discussion reports and product, the results of t_h > t_t thus hyphotesis (H1) is accepted. Problem Based Learning model accompanied by video media can improve the biology learning outcomes in the affective and psychomotor of class X SMA N 1 Sitiung who were enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year.
