This study aims to collect data, analyze data and find out about Farmers' Perceptions of Palm Oil Conversion to Rice Fields in Kinali Subdistrict, West Pasaman District, seen from the level of education, livelihood, and income level before determining the three variables here, the previous researchers also looked at the knowledge. farmers to convert oil palm to rice fields.This type of research is descriptive. The study population was farmers who converted palm oil to rice fields in Kinali District, West Pasaman Regency, totaling 32 farmers. The analysis used is descriptive statistics using the Percentage formula. Determination of the perception of farmers by using the percentage formula. The results found that: 1) Farmers' perception of the conversion of oil palm to rice fields in Kinali District, West Pasaman Regency was seen from the level of education as quite good with a percentage of 51.87%, 2) Perception of farmers on conversion of oil palm to rice fields in Kecamatan Kinali Kabupaten West Pasaman is seen from livelihood, including unfavorable with a percentage of 39.37%, 3) Farmers' perception of the conversion of oil palm to rice fields in Kinali sub-district, West Pasaman regency, seen from the income level is somewhat unfavorable with a percentage of 40.98%.
