In advertising a product, each company promotes goods or services in its own way. The politeness of the language found in advertising is proven to sustain success in the promotion of a product. Every speech someone has a function and purpose and level of politeness of different languages so that what is said can be received or understood well by the listener including advertisements broadcast by Radio Arbes FM. Reseaarch This uses a quallitative approach with descriptiive methods. The data of this study are the words or utterances contained in advertisements on Radio Arbes FM. The data source this of study uses data sources in the from of audio or recorded advertisements that are promoted to Radio Arbes FM. this is in accordance with one of the seven criteria for a qualitative research sample. In this research, a form of politeness in language will be described in the Radio Arbes FM advertisement. The results of this study were politeness in language with a Profit and Loss Scale (SKK) of 20 utterances, Choice Scale (SP) of 45 utterances, unsustainability scale (SKL) of 12 utterances, Authorization Scale (SK) of 11 utterances, and the Social Distance Scale of 51 utterances. From the description above, the scale most commonly found in Arbes Radio adverts is the Social Distance Scale because the advertisements do not want the between distance the speaker and speech the partner and create a closeness. The politeness scale that is least found is the Status Social Scale, thee least usee off Social the Status Scalee in the Radio Arbes ad aims because, the speaker does not want to show differences in social status between the speaker and his speech partner.
