Students who work while studying among students are already familiar, varios kinds of things that encourage students to work while studying. Based on these problems, the purpose of this study is to describe how the impact occurs for students who work while studying. The theory used in this research is the ffhenomenology theory put forward by Schutz. This research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. Data collection methods are through interviews and observation. Interviews are conducted with informants of up nine people. Data analysis models are trough the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusion. From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the motives of students working while in college are, a) motives because motives, which consist of economic factors, are often late in paying tuition fees. In addition to students, work is also based on motives in order consisting of motives, their desire to seek experience, as well as because they want to fill their free time themselves, and to supplement their own spending money. While the impact of students who go to college while working is a positive impact, where the positive impact is felt that they can finance their own lives and can also help their family life. while the negative impact is disrupted learning process, and physical weakness.
