Abstrak :

This research is motivated by students less participating in the learning process and students’ math learning outcomes are still low. The aim of this research to determine whether students math learning outcomes by applying the model cooperative learning Think Pair Share type is better than students math learning outcomes without applying the Think Pair Share type of model cooperative learning.  The type of this research is experiment research, with a randomized research design on the subject. The technique sampling was done randomly, class VIII6 as the class experiment and VIII7 as the control class. The instrument used was the final essay shaped test with the reliability of the test r11 = 0,919. The technique data analysis used in this research was a one side test. Based on the data analysis it was concluded that the math learning outcomes of students by applying the model cooperative learning of the Think Pair Share type were better than the students’ math learning outcomes without applying the model cooperative learning of the Think Pair Share class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Batang Anai.
