Abstrak :

            Parents pay teenagers to do illegal street racingagainst their children because parents do not mean not to love their children, but parents are difficult to control children, which children are no longer obedient to parents. The purpose of the research is to describe the reasons for parent.The theory used in this study is the Phenomenology theory proposed by Alfred Schutz. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research conducted for one month, namely from December 2018 to January 2019. The informants of the study were taken by purposive sampling totaling 16 people. The type of data is divided into primary and secondary. Data collection techniques used are non-participant observation, in-depth interviews, document studies, then the unit of analysis is the group. Analysis of the data in this study used interactive analysis which was presented by Miles and Huberman, namely collecting data, after collecting selected data, select it or reduce it, after the data was sorted, then enter the data presentation, after the data was presented lastly the data was concluded or verified.The results of this study indicate that the reason parents let teens do wild racing is because parents have difficulty controlling children's behavior, which is where the omission affects children's education, and children want to go home, in addition to letting children race wild parents also provide preconditions or agreement if the child left to do wild racing, the child wants to follow the study or school activities and go home.
