Abstrak :

            This research is motivated by the lack of use of various learning media. Based on these problems researchers are interested in using one of the learning media. The purpose of this study was to see the improvement of student learning outcomes in sociology subjects by using comic-shaped learning media for students of class X IPS at Sijunjung 7 Public High School. The theory used in this study is social-cognitive theory according to Albert Bandura. This research approach is quantitative research and type of experimental research. The population in this study were all students of class X in Sijunjung High School 7 totaling 136 people. Sampling using purposive sampling technique, the number of samples 68 people, namely class X IPS2 and class X IPS3. The instrument used in this study is a test item. Data analysis techniques using tests of normality, homogeneity, normality. The results of this study reveal that t table (1.681) t table (1.681). This means that there is a difference in the average value of the experimental class lower than the control class. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, from this statement it can be concluded that there is no significant effect on comic-shaped learning media on student learning outcomes in sociology subjects with social research methods in class X students 7 Sijunjung.
