This study aims to determine student physics earning outcomes with the Rotating Trio Exchange learning model better than student physics learning outcomes using a scientific approach to class XI MIPA SMAN 1 V koto Kampung Dalam. This type of research is a quasi experimental design with posttest only control design. The population in this study were all student of XI MIPA SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam. The sampling teachique is cluster random sampling. The instrument used in the study is the final test in the form of essays and obsevation sheets. Final test results with an average of 70,92 in the experimental class and 33,91 in the control class. Based on data analysis, it is known that the two classes of sample classes are normally distributed and not homogeneous at the real level of 0,05. The statistical tes used is the test. Based on the calculation result obtained with = 1,70 because , then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the results of activity analysis it can be seen that the experimental class activity is higher than the control class learning activities. So it can be concluded the student physics learning out comes by using the Rotating Trio Exchange learning model is better than the physics learning outcomes off students using scientific learning models in class XI MIPA SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam.
