The problem in this study is the achievement
motivation and physics learning outcomes of students of the class X MIPA SMA
Adabiah 2 Padang which are still below the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) that
have been set. In addition, there are still students who consider physics as
one of the difficult subjects. The purpose of this study was to determine the
significant effect between achievement motivation on physics learning outcomes
students of class X MIPA SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. Type of study is quantitative
research with descriptive research with correlational type. The population in
this study is all students of class X MIPA SMA Adabiah 2 Padang of 111 people,
and a sample of 111 people with a sampling technique used Saturation Sampling.
This research instrument uses a questionnaire. Data processed with Pearson
Product Moment correlation and simple regression with the help of SPSS V.25.
The correlation test results using SPSS V.25 obtained Pearson correlation value
of 0.500. Based on the significant test, the value
t count value is 5.719. The conclusion is a significant relationship between
achievement motivation in physics learning outcomes of students of class X MIPA
SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. Regression test results using SPSS V.25 obtained a
regression equation that is Y = 20,543+0,626X. The conclusion a significant
influence between achievement motivation in physics learning outcomes of
students of class X MIPA SMA Adabiah 2 Padang.
