Abstrak :

The purpose of this study is as follows. To describe the validity, practicality, effectiveness of Student Worksheets (LKS) learning to write fantasy story texts based on Discovery Learning assisted by glowing serial media images of Grade VII The Student of Public Junior High School 6 Solok City (in terms of content, presentation, language and graphics).This research is a development research using a 4-D Models development model which consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. However, this research is only carried out until the developing stage. Define stage consists of preliminary analysis, student analysis, curriculum analysis, concept analysis, and task analysis. In the design phase, the Student Activity Sheet (LKS) is designed to write fantasy story texts based on Discovery Learning assisted by glowing serial image media, then in the development stage there will be validity test consisting of 2 lecturers and 1 Indonesian language teacher in Solok Public Middle School. Practical test by 1 teacher and 21 students of Grade VII The Student of Public Junior High School 6 Solok City. Data will be analyzed by percentage data analysis techniques and processed descriptively.The results of this study are as follows. First, test validity with a valid category, which is 77.92% in terms of content, presentation, language, and graphics. Second, practicality tests are viewed in terms of easy to use and students and according to time allocation. Teacher practicality test is 85.79% and student practicality test is 89.71%. Third, the effectiveness test is seen based on student learning activity which is 94.55 % and student learning outcomes are 80.95%.
