Abstrak :

        This research was conducted because it was found problems obtained from observations and interviews, namely the learning process that is not in accordance with the RPP, lack of student participation when discussing, students who had difficulty answering questions, students who did not understand the information conveyed by the teacher, student learning outcomes were cheap or what is sought by KKM, the teacher uses power point media, so that the process of the greenhouse effect cannot be done well by students. This research was conducted to see the learning outcomes in the affective, cognitive and psiomotor domains by applying the guided inquiry learning model to collect media videos in SMP N 2 Lembah Gumanti, Solok Districts. This research is an experimental study with a Randomized Control Group Posstest Only Desaign research design, with the entire population of class VII of SMPN2 Lembah gumanti Solok Districts. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The instruments in this research in the affective domain consisted of observing attitudes (responsibility and cooperation in groups), instruments in the cognitive domain included multiple choice questions through written tests, and instruments in psychomotor consisting of products (Systematics Reports and Report Readability). Assessments in the affective, cognitive, and psychomotor domains by conducting a hypothesis test obtained by the hypothesis (H1) are accepted. It can be concluded that the application of the guided inquiry learning model of video media can improve the learning outcomes of Grade VII students of SMP N 2 Lembah Gumanti, Solok Districts.
