Abstrak :

            This research is founded by a decrease in the purity of Indonesian due to he use of come mixing by teachers. This study aims to first describe the type of code mix Indonesian language contained in the speech of teachers in the teaching and learning process in SMP Negeri 7 Pariaman the two formsof code mixing Indonesian language speech in the teaching and learning process in SMP Negeri 7 Pariaman. This type of reserch is qualitative with descriptive methods. The data sourceof this research wasthree Indonesian language teachers. The data of this study are the teacher’s speech in the form of mixed codes in the teaching and learning processin SMP Negeri 7 Pariaman. Based on the results of the study found the type of code mixing in and the typeof code mixing out. Mixedforms of code found are forms of words, re-words, groups of words, idioms, and clauses. Code mixing is the most frequently foundform of code mixing, while the word form is the must commonly found form of code mixing. Mixing the code by the teachers is a way of approaching the teachersand students who have the same mothers tongue, the Minang language.
