The background of this research on socialization
of school rules to students in a SMA Semen Padang. SMA Semen Padang there are
students who do not follow school rules. Problems associated with students who
do not follow school rules is because hard adjust to the school rules related
to the reality in schools that learners are difficult adjust to the school
environment SMA Semen Padang as seen when learners are often late and often go
out during school hours has begin. This study describes the socialization of
school rules faces by the students in the SMA Semen Padang. The theory used in
this research is structural functionalism by Talcott Parsons. This type of
research used qualitative research. Purposive sampling techniques informant
research. the type of data used this research is primary data and secondary
data. Methods of data collection are observation, interview and document study.
Analysis of the data used interactive model of Milles and Huberman (1) data
reduction, (2) data collection, (3) data, (4) result.The results show that the
socialization of school rules to students at SMA Semen Padang begin by: 1) The
introduction of the school environment (MOS / MOPD), 2) socialization in the
classroom, 3) At the time of Kultum, 4) in extracurricular activities, 5)
during the flag ceremony, 6) after prayers in congregation.
