This study aims to determin the effect of physics learning outcomes of student with a type of jigsaw cooperative learning model better than physics learning outcomes of student using a scientific approach to class XI MIPA SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam. This type of research is a quasi exsperimental design with posttesty only control designt. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling. Where class XI MIPA 4 as an experimental class and XI MIPA 3 as a control class. This instruments used in this study were the final test and observation sheet. Based on the result of data analysis it is known that both sample classes are normally distributed and homogeneous at the real level = 0,05. The test statistic used is the one party t test. Based on the calculation results obtained t = 16,74 with = 1,68, because t , then rejected and be accepted. Based on the results of activity analysis it can be seen that the exsperimental class activity is higher than the control class learning activities. So it can be concluded that the hypothesis in this study is the physics learning outcomes of student using a jigsaw cooperative learning model accompanied is better than the physics learning outcomes of student using scientific learning model in class XI MIPA SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam.
