in the ICT learning process at school is not optimal. Expository learning such
as the lecture method further makes students become bored quickly, causing
student ICT learning outcomes to be low. The purpose of this study was to
determine whether the snowball learning model had an effect on the learning
outcomes of ICT students in the material of Computer Basic Operations class X
of SMA 1 Jujuhan Ilir.This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The
population in this study were all class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Jujuhan Ilir
in the 2018/2019 academic year. While the samples in this study were X 1 as the
experimental class and X 2 as the control class. The instrument used in this
study was in the cognitive domain in the form of a final test.Based on the
results of the study, the average student learning outcomes of the experimental
class were 83.33, while the control class received an average score of 76.76.
The results of hypothesis calculations at a significant level α = 0.05 were
obtained tcount> t table, that is (2.515> 1.692), because the tcount is
large from t table, then the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1)
is accepted. Learning outcomes of students who use the snowball throwing
learning model are better than those who use the expository learning model.
This means that the snowball throwing learning model has an effect on the
learning outcomes of ICT students in the material of Basic Computer Operations
class X of SMANegeri 1 Jujuhan Ilir.
