Abstrak :

This research is motivated by the existence of students who do not have best friends, some students do not know how to start social relations with others and the existence of students who are less able to work with friends. The purpose of this research is to described: 1) Students emotion regulation, 2) Students social relations, 3) Correlation between students emotional regulation with students social relations in class XI Department of Office Administration at SMK Negeri 1 Lubuk Basung. The research uses a quantitative correlational description method. The research population numbered 127 students. The research sample was 56 students with proportional random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire, and was analized by using the percentage and correlation technique. The research finding: 1) The students' emotional regulation was in a fairly good category. 2) Students social relations are in a quite good category. 3) There is a significant coefficient correlation between students emotion regulation and social relations in quite strong. Based on research finding it is recommended to students to be able to improve emotional regulation and social relations so that they can have good social relations in the school, home and community environment.
