This research is motivated by students who are less able to compose stories, are less skilled in writing fantasy story texts and learning methods that are used still use the lecture method. The purpose of this study was to describe the writing skills of fantasy text stories grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sitiung without and using the Quantum Learning model. This type of research is a quantitative study using an experimental method with a Posttest Only Control Design. The population of this research is all grade VII students of Sitiung Public Middle School. The sampling technique in this study is to 30 people (control class) and class VII E, amounting to 32 people (experimental class). The data in this study were scores of fantasy text writing skills in grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sitiung. The research instument was given through a perfomance test. The results showed that (a) The skill of writing fantasy text without using the Quantum Learning model obtained an average score of 66.10 at a mastery level of 66-75% with more advanced qualification (LdC). (b) Skill of writing fantasy that using the Quantum Learning model has an average score of 78.64 at a mastery level of 76-85% with Good qualification (B). (c) The significant influence of the Quantum Learning model on fantasy story writing skills at Sitiung Middle School 1 because count > table (5.94>1.67). So it can be concluded that the Quantum Learning model influences the skills of writing fantasy text stories for grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sitiung.
