Abstrak :

        This research is motivated because the scientific approach has not been optimally implemented and the facilities in schools don’t support such as the availability of infocus, LCD, and teachers rarely use the environment as a learning medium, in addition, students are not active in seeking information or asking questions with other students and the learning that is carried out is too teacher-centered. This has an impact on the implementation of learning with a scientific approach in SMPN/MTsN at Kecamatan Sumpur Kudus Kabupaten Sijunjung. This research is aims to determine the problems faced by science teachers in implementing learning with a scientific approach in SMPN/MTsN at Kecamatan Sumpur Kudus Kabupaten Sijunjung. This research was conducted at school SMPN/MTsN at Kecamatan Sumpur Kudus Kabupaten Sijunjung. This type of research is descriptive with the population is all science teachers SMPN/MTsN at Kecamatan Sumpur Kudus Kabupaten Sijunjung.  The sample that is  used is all over science teachers which is taken by using total sampling technic. The Instrument of this research is a questionnaire. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics. Based on the results of the study found that the problems faced by science teachers in the implementation of learning with a scientific approach in SMPN/MTsN at Kecamatan Sumpur Kudus Kabupaten Sijunjung is 66,29% (quite problematic). It can be concluded that in the implementation of the learning process with a scientific approach in SMPN/MTsN at Kecamatan Sumpur Kudus Kabupaten Sijunjung the science teacher faced quite problematic.
