Student involvement in the ICT learning process at school is not optimal. Expository learning, such as the lecture method, makes students become bored quickly, causing low ICT learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the generative learning model had an effect on the ICT learning outcomes of students in the material Explaining the Various Hardware and Functions for Internet Access Purposes of Class XI IPA 1 Sutera High School. This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Sutera in the 2018/2019 academic year. While the sample in this study was XI IPA 1 as the experimental class and XI IPA 3 as the control class. The instrument used in this study was in the cognitive domain in the form of a final test.Based on the results of the study, it was found that the average student learning outcomes of the experimental class were 63.71, while the control class received an average score of 46.41. The results of the calculation of the hypothesis at a significant level α = 0.05 were obtained tcount> t table that is (3.67> 1.99), because the tcount is large from t table, then the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This means that generative learning methods affect the learning outcomes of ICT in the material. Explain the Various Hardware and Functions for Internet Access Purposes of class X1 IPA students in SMA Negeri 1 Sutera.
