The purpose of this study, which is to describe the validity, practicality and effectiveness of learning student actitvity sheet based Inquiri students class VII SMP Negeri Muhammadiyah 6 Padang. This study is a development by usingdevelopment model 4-DModels that consists of four stages, namely define (pendefenisian), design (design), develop (development), and disseminate (spread). However, the study was only conducted until the stage of development(develop).phase Define consists of front-end analysis, analysis of students, curriculum analysis, concept analysis, and analysis tasks. At thestage design to design learning student actitvity sheet for writing text-based prosedur of inquiri, then on stage develop validity test which consists of 2 lecturers and 1 teacher Indonesian SMP Muhammadiyah 6 padang. Test practicalities by 1 teacher and 24 students of class VII SMP. Data were analyzed with data analysis techniques and processed desktriptif percentage. The results of this study, is as follows. Tops, test the validity of the category of very valid, ie 81,84% in terms of content, presentation, linguistic, and kegrafikaan. Second, test the practicalities of practical categorized as practical, ie 80,36% in terms of easy to use by teachers and students as well as in accordance with the allocation oftime. Third, the effectiveness of the test is effective, that is 98,27% with a very effective viewable categories based on the results of student learning and activity. Learning student actitvity sheet can be concluded prosedur writing text-based Inquiri produced is valid, practical, and effective.
