Abstrak :


The purpose of this research was to describe students writing ability in exposition text at students tenth grade of SMAN 1 Panti,       withou or with Auditory model, Intellectual, Repetition with picture media.The research was quantitative Research with using experiment method by appliying post test Only Control Group Design. The population was tenth grade students of SMAN 1 Panti, in which 2 classes were samples which were assigned into two group, the first, class was X IPA 3 (25 students) as control group and the sccohd class was X IPA 1 (25 students) as experiment group. The data was students score writing ability in exposition texs at tenth grade of SMAN 1 Panti. The instrument of this research was performance test.The result showed that the first, the students score average in writing ability of exposition texs without AIR model was 66,39 qualified in moderate. It was in 56-66% stretch. The second, students writing ability in exposition texs by using AIR model with picture media was 80 qualified in goud (B). It was in 76-85%. The third, bused on t test, there was significant effect with tcount > ttable (1,87>1,68) thus, it can be concluded that there was significant effect of using AIR model to students writing ability in exposition text at tenth grade of SMAN 1 Panti.
