Abstrak :

This research was conducted because of students’ lack on self-learning in mathematics and students’ achievement was still under the minimum criteria of mastery learning (KKM). The purpose of this research was to determined students’ self-learning by implementing the strategy of Everyone Is A Teacher Here (ETH) at VIII grade of SMPN 12 Padang Academic Year 2017/2018, whether the results of student learning by implementing the strategy Everyone Is A Teacher Here (ETH) would be better than student learning achievement that implemented by conventional learning at VIII grade of SMPN 12 Padang Academic Year 2017/2018. In addition, the sampling technique used simple random sampling. The population of the research was all students of VIII grade at SMPN 12 Padang. The instruments of this research are the questionnaires and final tests. The result of students’ mathematics self-learning was 0,16. The form of test was a essay form with . Based on the data analysis, it was known that the two sample classes were normal and homogeneous distributed. Based on hypothesis, test results obtained H0 accepted. Then it was concluded that the mathematics self-learning of students had increased with low classification and student learning achievement by implementing Everyone Is A Teacher Here (ETH) strategy was better than the result of students’ mathematics learning achievement by applying conventional learning at VIII grade of SMP Negeri 12 Padang.
