This research is motivated by the number of games found in the collection of poems for the letter to my son by Ratih Sanggarawaty. The poems use majas in conveying messages. However, the National Assembly has not been clearly identified. So it is necessary to do research. The purpose of this research is to describe the comparison of majas in a collection of poems for the letter to my son by Ratih Sanggarwaty.This research is a qualitative research using descriptive analysis method. The data in this study are comparisons in the collection of poems for the letter to my son by Ratih Sanggarwaty. This research step was carried out in several stages. First, the reading stage, that is, reading carefully the poems in the collection of poems Letter to My Son by Ratih Sanggarwaaty. Second, it marks the data relating to the use of comparisons in the collection of poems for the letter to my son by Ratih Sanggarwaty. Third, the inventory phase is to inventory the data found about the use of comparisons in the collection of poems for the letter to my son by Ratih Sanggarwaty.The results of the study conclude that there are five comparisons used in the collection of poems by Ratih Sanggarwaty's Letter to My Children, namely majas perumpuan, majas metaphor, majas personification, majas alegori, and majas anatesis. Comparative advances that are often raised by authors in his poems are majas metaphor. The collection of poems for Ratih Sanggarwaty's Letter To My Children uses a lot of metas as a metaphor
