Abstrak :


The research aims to determine the effect of Inquiry training learning models with Mind mapping on learning outcomes of students of Class X IPA of SMAN 1 Batipuh. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a Posttest only control design. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling, selected class X IPA 1 as an experimental class and class X IPA 2 as a control class. The analysis technique used is the t test because the data are normally distributed and the variance is homogeneous. The average value of the knowledge competency of the experimental class and the control class is 64.57 and 55.04. Hypothesis test results obtained, tcount = 2.46 and  ttable = 1.67, the hypothesis is accepted. The conclusion from the analysis of the data is that there is an effect on the physics learning outcomes of students using the inquiry training learning model with mind mapping class X IPA SMAN 1 Batipuh.
