Abstrak :

                This research is motivated by several problem including, in SMPN/MTsN se- Kecamatan Bayang only carry out the three stages of the scientific approach (observing, asking questions, gathering informations, associating, communicating). The pupose of this research is to find out the difficulties of science teacher in implementing learning using a scientific approach in SMPN/MTsN se-Kecamatan Bayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. This study is a descriptive study. The population in this study were all science teachers in SMPN/MTsN se-Kecamatan Bayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan which amounted to 19 respondents. The sampling technigueused is total sampling. The instruments used for data colletin in the study were questionnaires and interview sheets. Data analysis used percentage statiscs. Besed on the serults of the study the results obtaibned at each indicator of the learning process by observing a percentage obtained at 89,04% with no difficult criteria. The activity of conducting the learning process by asking questions obtained a percentage of 88,05% with no difficult criteria. The activity of conducting the learning process by gathering information obtained a percentage of 85,68% with no difficult criteria. The activity of conducting the learning process by associate obtained a percentage of 88,16% with no difficult criteria. The activity of conducting the learning process by communicating obtained a percentage of 91,45% with no difficult criteria. From this study it can be concluded that in carrying out learning with a scientific approach to the 2013 curriculum in SMPN/MTsN se-Kecamtan Bayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan science teachers do not experience difficulties.
