This research is motivated by the problemtic behavior of students. There are Forms of problemtic behavior of students such as figting, threatening, mockIng, puling, out when PBM takes, place smoking, frekuent absences, not making assignments, orhomework,saying dirty,dating, and stealing friends’ money.in improving this problematic behavior can not be separated from the homeroom teacher . the purpose of this study is to describe the function of homeroom teacher as a guide in imroving the problematic behavior of class x1 IPS 1 in the 2 senior high shool of silk. The study uses the humanism theory pioneered by Skiner, and this type of research uses a kualitave approach with a descriptive approach. Informants in this study amounted to 13 people including homeroom teachers, BK Teachers and students who behaved in a problemtic manner. Methods of data collection in research using non-participant obserpation, in-depth interviews and document studies. Analysis of the data used in this study is an analysis and interactive model ( milles and Huberman). Includes in four stages, namely :data collection, data reduction stage, and conclusion stage.
