Type of this research is a qualitative descriptive study. The results showed: (1) Distribution function of agricultural land to be non agricultural in Sangir Subdistrict, South Solok Regency in the form to spread Transfer of land functions in the District of Sangir, there are 23 points spread over four villages in the District of Sangir. (2) from 2010-2017 change function of land in Sangir sub-district experienced an increase and decrease. In 2010 the area of settlements was 1.998 hectares and in 2017 it was 3.070 which increased by 1.072 hectares. Whereas public facilities in 2010 had an area of 895 Ha, and in 2017 amounted to 1.053 Ha which increased by 158 Ha. Land has decreased rice fields, plantations and mixed gardens. In 2010, there were 7.830 hectares of paddy fields, in 2017 the width of 7.139 hectares was reduced to 691 hectares. While plantations in 2010 amounted to 3.246 hectares, in 2017 it was 3.041 hectares which decreased by 205 hectares. While mixed gardens in 2010 were 1.691 hectares and in 2017 there were 1.357 hectares which experienced a reduction of 334 hectares. Paddy fields, plantations, and mixed gardens turned into settlements, public facilities. (3) The effect of land transfer function on the socio-economic community is that the community can start other businesses such as trading or getting a new job. In addition, changing in land use also has an impact on the environment, namely reduced food productivity and reduced air quality.
