This research is motivated by the lack of activeness of students in the learning process, learning that is still dominated by teachers, students tend to be passive and less participate in learning, the learning model used by the teacher in the learning process has not made students motivated in learning. So that causes the low results of learning biology class X SMA N 1 Sungai Geringging, Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. This study aims to determine the application of Guided Inquiry type cooperative learning models accompanied by media images of the results of learning biology class X SMA N 1 Sungai Geringging, Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. This type of research is experimental research with the population is all students of class X SMA N 1 Sungai Geringging. The sampling technique with purposive sampling obtained X MIA 4 experimental class and X MIA 1 control class, the design of this study was Randomized Control Posted Only Design. The research instrument used for cognitive is written test, affective domain in the form of attitude observation sheets (self-assessment and peer assessment) and psychomotor use of product assessment (assessment of reports and papers). Based on the results of the study obtained from the learning outcomes in the cognitive domain of students that is the average value of the experimental class 71.76 and the average value of the control class is 66.39. The results of the hypothesis test analysis using t-test obtained t count (1.68)> t table (1.67) hypothesis accepted, as well as in the affective and psychomotor domains, means the application of Guided Inquiry learning models accompanied by media of assessment images in the affective, cognitive, psychomotor can improve the results of learning biology class X SMA N 1 Sungai Geringging Kabupaten Padang Pariaman.
