Abstrak :

            This research is motivated by the existence of students who have intellectual talents whose social interaction is not good. The purpose of this study describes 1) The profile of social interaction of gifted intellectual students viewed from the associative process, 2) The profile of social interaction of gifted intellectual students viewed from the dissociative process. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The key informants of this research are one person, additional informants are two people from close friends and counselor of guidance and counseling. The research instrument uses interview guidelines and studies of data processing documentation through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study are: 1)The social interaction profile of intellectual gifted students viewed from the associative process can be seen from cooperation, accommodation and assimilation. 2) the profile of social interaction of intellectual gifted students viewed from competition and disagreement or personal or group disputes. Intellectual gifted students are recommended to be more able to open themselves in interacting with their classmates.
